WHAT TO BRING

We recommend bringing an assortment of items to make your trip the best that it can be. Tennis shoes or deck shoes are perfect for the slippery surface of the boat’s deck, especially when one must keep their balance in rougher water. Sunscreen is necessary to prevent skin from sunburn, while sunglasses allow the glare of the water to be easily seen through. They additionally protect the eyes from any possible injury, including a lure flying out of the water just after a fish becomes unhooked from the line. Wear proper clothing per the weather, including rain gear or a hat. If any medication is required for motion sickness, take the necessary precautions. Bring a cooler filled with food or drinks, and an extra one for taking home the fish. Lastly, don’t forget to grab your camera!

OUR VESSEL

Join us on the water and fish aboard the GypsyLyn III, a 27’ Sportscraft with a hardtop and is powered by a 454 Volvo Penta engine. Our vessel can comfortably accommodate 6 anglers on a full-day or half-day trip. The GypsyLyn is fully rigged with up-to-date electronics and fishing equipment. Fishing licenses are not included in the price and must be purchased in advance by the Pennsylvania Fish Commission. The license must contain a Lake Erie Stamp. For steelhead fishing, a combo stamp is required.
